Portsmouth Youth Cheerleading (PYC) is a non-profit youth cheerleading organization. PYC aims to provide a safe and inclusive environment for young individuals aged 5-14 to learn and excel in the art of cheerleading. PYC is driven by the belief that cheerleading not only promotes physical fitness but also instills valuable life skills such as teamwork, discipline, and self-confidence. We are committed to empowering our youth and fostering their personal growth through this dynamic sport. Portsmouth Youth Cheerleading cheers on Portsmouth Youth Football throughout the season and competes in cheerleading competitions across the state of New Hampshire and into Boston, Massachusetts.

SCHEDULE

• August – December
• Two practices a week
• One game or competition on weekends

REGISTRATION AND COSTS

• Registration Fee - $250
• Uniform Deposit - $250
• Warmups – typically around $75
• Cheerleading Sneakers – Costs vary
  • No specific brand required (Nfinity, Varsity, Chasse, GK, etc.)

REQUIRED PAPERWORK

• Birth Certificate
• Physical/Medical Clearance Form

• Division 8 (5, 6, 7, 8) – Mini Mates
• Division 10 (7, 8, 9, 10) – Crew
• Division 12 (9, 10, 11, 12) – Sailors
• Division 14 (11, 12, 13, 14) – Captains
