Portsmouth Youth Cheerleading
Youth Cheerleading is back in Portsmouth!
Portsmouth Youth Cheer (PYC) is dedicated to providing girls and boys ages 5-14 with a positive and encouraging environment focused on the fundamentals of cheerleading. Athletes will learn motions, sideline cheers, jumps, tumbling and stunting skills in a safe and inclusive environment. We are a competitive cheerleading organization supporting Portsmouth Youth Football.

Coach Becky graduated from UNH in 2020. She works in oral surgery and is working towards become a dentist, herself!

Maddie brings 10 years of competitive cheerleading experience to PYC. Her favorite thing about coaching youth cheer is seeing the beginning of lifelong friendships.
Kaylina Scott
Introducing Coach Kaylina! This will be her second year coaching our Clippers. Before beginning her coaching career, Kaylina was a competitive cheerleader for over 14 years!
Kaylina has competed on some of the biggest stages the cheer world has to offer- including the College National Cheer Competition in Daytona Beach, FL as a member of the Southern New Hampshire University Cheerleading team!
A fun fact about Kaylina is that she began cheerleading in Las Vegas, where she lived for 16 years!
Janie Gondek
This is Coach Janie's first year with the Clippers! She brings 15 years of both competitive and collegiate cheerleading experience. She is a two time NCA college champion as captain of the SMU Cheerleading team from Dallas, TX and placed 1st at NCA and 3rd at Worlds in 2014 as a Cheer Athletics Panther!
Janie and her husband moved to Portsmouth a few years ago and love calling the seacoast their home. Janie works in technology in Boston and lives in Dover. She attributes a lot of who she is to the impact cheerleading made on her life and she is excited to be part of that impact for the athletes of PYC.
